My sister made this last month for a family get together. It was SOOOOO yummy. Yesterday I had my "Biggest Loser" results party/potluck, so I made this into a healthy recipe, using whole wheat french bread and fat free cheeses/sour cream. Those that ate it seemed to enjoy it. Today, I brought the leftovers to work, and everyone loved it. Definitely a "make again" recipe. (I forgot to take a picture, so if you want to know what it looks like, take a peek here.)
1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix
1 container (16 oz.) sour cream (I used fat free)
1 cup (8 oz.) ricotta cheese (I used fat free)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (I used fat free)
1/4 cup (1 oz.) chopped pepperoni (I used the mini ones and left them whole)
1 loaf Italian or French bread, sliced (I used whole wheat)
Preheat oven to 350°. In shallow 1-quart casserole, combine Lipton
Recipe Secrets Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix, sour cream, ricotta
cheese, 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. Sprinkle with remaining
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered 30 minutes or until heated
through. Serve with bread. (I actually made mine in a mini crockpot instead)

Artichoke Dip (Cold)
My mom put me in charge of "a cracker dip" for our Fourth of July celebration. Thought I'd try this since I already had ALL of the ingredients on hand. (LOVE that...because I don't know about you, but if I run to the store to JUST get what I need for a recipe, I end up with 23 other items in my cart.) Anyways...
2 cans artichoke hearts, drained
1 (8oz) sour cream
1 pkg. Ranch dressing mix
1 cup mayonnaise
Crush artichoke hearts in a food processor. Mix with the rest of the ingredients and chill. Serve with your favorite cracker.
How easy was that?
It was a hit! Definitely will make this again.

Caramel Apple Dip
LOVE this recipe. My mother found it years ago and passed it along.

1 cup brown sugar
1 jar caramel ice cream topping (we use Mrs. Richardson)
salted peanuts (optional)
apples
beat cream cheese and brown sugar
spread into serving dish
pour caramel topping evenly over the top
sprinkle with peanuts
chill
serve with apple wedges (toss in lemon juice to prevent browning)

Bagel Dip
My sister has been making this recipe for family get togethers lately. My mom requests it all the time. And I can see why. It is sooooooo yummy. Ranks right up there with my spinach dip (previously posted). YUM-O!
16 oz sour cream
1 1/2 c mayo
2 tbls parsley flakes
2 tsp dill weed
2 tsp Accent seasoning
1 medium onion (chopped fine)
4 oz dried beef (like Carl Buddig)--cut up (I use kitchen shears to cut it into little squares)
Mix all ingredients together, chill 4 hours or overnight.
Serve with cut up bagels, crackers, breads, toasts, etc.

Hot Taco Dip (not spicy)
My bridal shower was a "recipe shower". Everyone was supposed to bring a favorite recipe and an ingredient/kitchen item used to prepare it. My sister sent this recipe along with a pizza pan. It is soooo good. This is another recipe that whenever I make it, someone asks for it. Oh, and by "hot", I don't mean spicy. It is baked in the oven, so "hot" refers to temperature.
1 lb ground beef
1 pkg taco seasoning
1 can refried beans
8 oz sour cream
8 oz bottle green taco sauce
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
tortilla chips
Brown beef w/some salt, pepper, garlic salt, and onion (if desired). Drain. Add taco seasoning and beans.
Spread onto greased pizza pan.
Mix sour cream w/taco sauce. Spread over meat mixture. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until cheese melts.

Spinach Dip
Now I'm sure EVERYONE has some version of this dip. I never made it before until I tried some at our grocery store's holiday open house. I've made it 3 times since. I've looked at about 10 different versions of the same recipe and just tooks bits and pieces of each to make the one we like best. It is best to make and chill before serving. I serve it with fun crackers or bagel pieces.
1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach (thaw completely and squeeze out water)
1 can water chestnuts, chopped
1 pkg dry vegetable soup mix
1 c sour cream
1 c mayonnaise
Mix soup mix, sour cream, & mayo. Add water chestnuts and spinach. Chill.
